I have absolutely no idea how these got dropped in my Netgalley Shelf! But I am happy to see them there!
“Marrying forbidden love, devoted friendship, and the supernatural with Palombo’s signature passion for music, storytelling, and heartbreaking choices, The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassel enchants with a concoction of love, longing, and loss plucked from the bones of one of our most enduring and haunting legends.” – Erin Lindsay McCabe, USA Today bestselling author of I Shall Be Near to You
There’s only so long you can run for your life.
The follow-up to her critically acclaimed Lie to Me, J.T. Ellison’s Tear Me Apart is the powerful story of a mother willing to do anything to protect her daughter even as their carefully constructed world unravels around them.
The highly acclaimed author of Watching Edie returns with a new novel of dark psychological suspense that explores how those closest to us have the most to hide…
Sometimes life’s most magical journeys bring you back to where it all began…From USA Today bestselling author Emily March comes The Christmas Wishing Tree, an enchanting account of the magic and miracle of Christmas.
I was thrilled to see J.T.Ellison in this group! One of my favorites and with this extreme heat maybe the Christmas Wishing Tree will make us feel a bit cooler!
What is on your TBR pile this week?
xx Patricia
I’m hoping to start The Run of His Life: The People vs. O.J. Simpson, by Jeffrey Toobin!

I don’t read many psychological thrillers, but I remember the overwhelming desire to forget the entire world and devour my John Grisham books back in the day. I haven’t read anything in that style in a while, and you’ve just reminded me how much I enjoy it.

John Grisham…..I’ve read all his books, mainly because I know him. My cousin and he were roomies in college and law school. He’s such a chill guy!

So, in other words, I know someone who knows John Grisham? Thrilled with this particular six degrees of separation 🙂

I have only just made a Netgalley account. Do you have any tips or advice? From there I just read Sweden by Matthew Turner which was brilliant and now I am reading My Real Name is Hanna by Tara Masih. These are just read now books I was a bit worried to “request” as I am so new.

Make sure you’ve liked your favorite publishers and order as many as you feel comfortable with and think you can bring in on time.

The next few on my NetGalley shelf (I read them in order of publication) are…
Come Away With Me by Maddie Please
Feared by Lisa Scottoline
How (NOT) to Marry a Duke by Felicia Kingsley
Lies by T. M. Logan
I have so many right now, but these will be read first. 🙂 Unless I get approved for the Jodi Picoult book. If so…all bets are off! 🙂

Out of curiosity…how many books do you read in a week?
LikeLiked by 1 person
It depends obviously on the length and subject but about 5.

Go you! I can get through 2 a week if I’m really interested. 🙂

I’m still on a lot of eye restrictions so I can’t go out a lot so it’s about all I do!

I understand that. I LOVE to read but I get interrupted a lot so to read a book quickly it has to really hold my attention. On the other hand those are the books I never want to end so…. LOL 😉

For a super psychological thriller, I recommend “I’m Thinking of Ending Things” by Iain Reid. I listened to that on audible.om. For a fantastic read based on a true account, “Rogue Divorce Lawyer” by Dale e. Manolakas. But those are what I have read. This weekend I am going to tackle several of the free samples I tend to download too many of … and then never read.

That sounds really good. I will look up Mr. Reid!
