Ms. Adams has a topic for every cozy mystery lover. Love pie? ( If you said no, we can’t be friends). Libraries, antiques, if you can think it, she has probably written it.
I ordered the pie ones yesterday and can’t wait to get them. If you haven’t discovered her yet, definitely give her a read! Check out your local library, mine had them all. Or you can order them all on Amazon.
Ellery Adams is the New York Times bestselling author of the Books by the Bay Mysteries, the Charmed Pie Shoppe Mysteries, and the Book Retreat Mysteries. She has had a life long love affair with both stories and food. As a child, she used to make mud pies and eat them. Over the years, she became more adept in the kitchen, and when she’s not writing, she loves to don an apron and fill her home with the sweet, buttery scent of baking pies. Ms. Adams has held many jobs, including caterer, retail clerk, car salesperson, teacher, tutor, and tech writer, all while penning poems, children’s books, and novels. She writes and creates culinary delights from her home in central Virginia.
All these cozy authors are really cute and fun and they are very warm hearted

I’m glad you said that! Mainly I read books that aren’t nice and cute and funny, and the world sure hasn’t been any of those things, so every few days I like to throw in something that just makes me smile!

My pies look exactly the same as my mud pies I made when I was a child.

I miss Pioneer Pies here in OKC. They would sell you a whole pie in a tin pie plate so you could pretend you made it yourself!

Lauretta Jean’s does that in Portland, Oregon. You pay a small deposit for a pyrex pie plate. Great idea. As a reader, I am enjoying your posts.
