King’s Lament by Lilia Blanc

King's Lament by Lilia Blanc

Betrayed by his advisors, only the love of two mysterious men can rescue Inea and save his kingdom.

After the death of his father, Inea finds himself the unprepared king of a country at war. When his council forsakes him, and he’s thrown into the dungeons of his own castle, Inea manages to escape only with the help of the intriguing stranger Ansyn.

After one year in hiding, Inea, driven by desire, seeks out Ansyn and discovers that there is more to his savior than he could have ever hoped for. Joined by their new ally Kaedon, passion builds, and they find themselves in a romance that helps fuel their plan to reclaim the throne.

A young man betrayed by his own people, sold to another and ending up in the dungeons of what could be long ago England.

Inea has lost his father and his country is at war. He is not equipped to run a country or a war. Shut up in the dungeon of his own home. But when he escapes with the aid of a mysterious stranger, he will begin a journey on his own. He can’t forget the one who helped him and sets out to find him as another man comes into the picture.

Inea does have some good qualities. He loves his people and wants to help, but he is sometimes a bit childish. Ansyn and Kaedon were great characters and I really enjoyed them.

Will he take back the throne from the queen? Will he find the support he needs? You will have a great time finding out!

The story was wrapped up nicely. No spoilers here. I hope we see more of this author!

About the Author:

Friends and partners in writing, Siryn Sueng and Usagi Kita, the minds behind Lilia Blanc, have been writing epic tales of LGBT romance together for over three years now. They met through Wattpad, sharing a passion for realistic healthy relationships, and cinematic action scenes with beautiful descriptions.
Usagi Kita is a pet stylist by day, and a college student by night. Squeezing writing in when he can, and when he’s lucky enough to not have been distracted by his fluffy, loving pets.
Siryn Sueng is a part time employee and full time college student looking to become an English teacher. She enjoys writing, cats, lots of anime, and lots of games. (Not always in that order.)
It was only on a whim that they moved their work over to and entered into a competition, thinking that it would be fun, and to build up a little more confidence in their writing, never expecting it would win. But their skills and support of each other paid off and they couldn’t be more excited to have their work go out into the world.
