Digging into my treasure chest of quotes by Southern authors again today.
Today is Eudora Alice Welty. Eudora wrote what she knew. The American South. She was born on April 13, 1909 in Jackson, Mississippi and died in the same place on July 23, 2001.
She won a Pulitzer Prize for her novel The Optimist’s Daughter in 1973. I love all of her books and was thrilled to meet her once.
I hope you will give her a read. She is one of our best American authors!
So if you would like to do this challenge, just do the above! Hope you are having a great Monday! P
